A compact in-car digital video recorder fitted with a shock resistant mounting assembly. Designed to counteract the vibration and movement inherent in vehicles. Excellent choice for use in buses, taxi’s, ferries, service vans, waste disposal vehicles etc. The wide operating voltage, 8-28V DC, makes it ideal for both 12V and 24V battery systems. Accepts four camera inputs and one audio input. These are recorded on an internal hard drive (available separately) and can be played back via the monitor output or on a PC with the included software. Each channel is displayed individually or in quad screen format as desired. Recording can be triggered via external contacts such as alarm system, ultrasonic detectors etc. Or alternatively, motion trigger, scheduled recording and full time recording modes are available. Alarm triggering mode enables monitoring when vehicle is unattended ie when alarm is triggered recording begins automatically. Recording time is dependant on hard disk space & number of cameras. For example, up to 240 hours recording time is available on a 400GB hard drive, when recording all four channels at 25fps. A vast array of recording options are available offering up to 14,750hr’s of footage on a 400GB hard drive. Compact design fits snugly in the boot or under the front seat. Includes USB PC interface adaptor for connection to hard drive caddy.
